I was in North Carolina this past weekend and stayed at the Springhill Suites in Chapel Hill. It was a lovely hotel and the room was very comfortable. Like most hotels, there were cute, little bottles of toiletries in the bathroom.
While it was tempting to take them, I left the bottles behind.
Do you think they’re a “gift” from the hotel? If so, what do you do with them once you get them home?
Some people hold on to them and donate them to a charity. In that case, you have to think about having to store them at your house and then remember to take them somewhere. You would be better served letting the hotel donate their surplus and finding some other way for you to contribute.
Do you take pens, note pads, toiletries and other sundries from hotel rooms or do you believe that just adds to your clutter burden?
