Be More Productive at Work

Today is National Coffee Day. I don’t know who comes up with these “holiday” designations, but I’m guessing this one was brought to us by the coffee cartel.

I got my free cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee this morning and now I’m buzzing with productivity. I can’t take much caffeine, though, so I need to find other ways to stay engaged.

A new study shows that taking a break every hour increases productivity.

If you can’t break away from your work once an hour, at least look away from your computer or move around at your workspace. Do something to give your brain and your body a change of pace.

And if you get a chance, take a coffee break.

How would you spend your time if you could take a short break each hour?

  2. Thanks for the kind words, James. I'm not familiar with this particular app, but I know that people can be extremely devoted to GTD.
