If you are in one of the areas that was hit hard by snow, you may be spending more time at home than usual. Take a look around and think about how it makes you feel. If you feel good about it, great! If, however, you are surrounded by clutter, think about how it affects you. Clutter causes stress and removing clutter helps relieve stress.
Start with one manageable area and create a vision for it. Then, give yourself permission to get rid of things. Be ruthless; if you are having trouble deciding whether to keep something, don’t talk yourself into it. Creating a comfortable environment won’t bring warm weather, but it will make you feel better when spring finally comes.
