I came across an essay, written recently by Paul Graham, who is a computer programmer, not a professional organizer. Paul has a very healthy perspective about “stuff;” among other things, he writes: “The only way you're ever going to extract any value from it is to use it. And if you don't have any immediate use for it, you probably never will.” Coming from someone who is not an organizer, the message is very powerful.
