Quote: Share Your Gifts

Around this time of year, many people feel the need to make contributions to their communities. Whether you donate time, money or talent, everyone has a gift that can be shared with someone else. The needs of people who are hungry, homeless, ill or suffering some other loss can be overwhelming. Making a difference to even one person, though, can change your outlook.

When you do nothing, you feel overwhelmed and powerless, but when you get involved, you feel the sense of accomplishment that comes from knowing you are working to make things better. – Albert Einstein

This holiday season, make your gift known to someone who can use it. You’ll benefit, as well.
(By the way, the same philosophy holds true for clutter - it may feel overwhelming, but making even a small impact will bring you satisfaction.)
